Congratulations!  Nashville’s “Sunday Mornin’ Country”® Celebration has been selected as one of the Southeast Tourism Society's Top 20 Events and Attractions for the month of June 2008!  This year’s recipient makes a return appearance on the prestigious list, also winning in 2004.

 

“Sunday Mornin’ Country”® promises to be the Best Ticket in town, blending Top Country Artists and your Favorite Gospel Music together for a time of Celebration and Inspiration you don't want to miss!  This years’ concert will be held Sunday, June 8, 2008 at 2:30 p.m. at the Historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN.

 

“It’s not just a concert, and it’s more than a church service!” stated event producer Lorrie Babcock Hendrickson.  “Sunday Mornin’ Country”® brings us great entertainment for the whole family, as Country Music Artists come together to share their heart as well as their favorite Gospel songs!”

May 10, 6:00 p.m. First Baptist of Joelton, “Saturday Evenin’ Country,” 7140 Whites Creek Pk., Joelton, TN. Featured Artist, Linda Davis, winner of a Grammy award for Best Country Vocal Collaboration for the song, Does He Love You?, sung with Reba McEntire, and many other accolades for Linda that are too many to list. Other Artists also volunteering their performance are Dianne Sherrill, Casey Rivers and Judy Gilbert. Love offering will be taken. Directions: Interstate 24 West (20 minutes from downtown Nashville), pass Old Hickory Blvd., take the next Exit 35 Springfield/Joelton, turn south toward Joelton, drive approx. 1 mile to the church on the left, go to Parking Lot #2 to sanctuary.

          May 18, 6:00 p.m. Oak Valley Baptist Church, “Sunday Evenin’ Country,” 1161 Lewisburg Pk., Franklin, TN. Scheduled now to appear on the program are The Babcocks, Margo Smith & Holly Watson, The Oak Valley Choir and members of the Grand Ole Opry Band. Love offering will be taken.  Directions: Interstate 65, Exit 61 at Peytonville Rd., turn toward Lewisburg Pk and US. 431, turn onto Lewisburg Pk., go approx. 1.5 miles to the church.

          If you would like to schedule a church concert, we can arrange for artists to come.

Join in the fun and fellowship with Nashville songwriters and artists. These events are open to members and non-members alike in all styles of music. The Songwriter's and Artist's Nights are ongoing events and is hosted by MCCF members who are part of the fabric of Music City.
